i just bought these new led reverse bulbs but i dont know how to replace them with the current adapter

heres a picture of the bulbs can anyone help?

 

what size bulb are those?
they look awfully small to be 7440's

 

Those are 194's. Where in the rear taillight does it take 194's?

 

the car doesn't.
at least not with the Series I.
maybe Series II is different

 

S2 is a 7440 as well

 

did a quick check on sylvania's site. Most of the bulbs (except LED brake) appear to be similar to Series I

since it's also a 7440, that 194 bulb can't be used as a replacement to the reverse lights. You can however use it for your license plate, interior dome lights, or even the front marker lights.

for reverse bulbs, I recommend something like this: (it's what I have on my Series I)

^...............yes, they will.............stick it in the plate bulb locale. Keep one as a back-up.
Yes, we all know they could be used elsewhere, but I'm not going there right now.

 

lol sorry guys i bought 3 different led lights and the rear bulbs finally came in today, those were actually my license plate led lights sorry for the mix up but thanks for all your help!

 

And the mild abuse is free.

 

$50 for a pair of reverse taillight bulbs...

Doesnt seem worth it to me, but I guess you run out of stuff to mod eventually Jedi eh? lol
