Help! Wiring "ON" - wire to circuit that will not be turned off when key is turned

My gauges require 5 wires to power up and working properly.

Batt + : connect to always-on 12V.
Ground
On : wire to ciruit that will not be turned off when engine is cranking"
ACC : wire to ciruit that turned off when engine is cranking
Small Lamp: for night time dimming

Problem is
I can't find any where to tap "On - wire to circuit that will not be turned off when engine is cranking" in the kick panel fuse box.

according to StealthTL (https://www.rx8club.com/newreply.php...eply&p=2830785)

Seems like there is no such circuit in 8 that won't cut while engine is cranking.
8 only has always-on and ACC, which will be cut during cranking.

Any one know where to tap such circuit?
If not any mod would do? (ie. bypassing relay from unused circuit to feed "On" requirement. My 8 does not have Nav, power seat, or Bose)

If not thing work. I guess I have to get new gauges with different power requirement.

Thanks,
Tony

Extra note:
My gauges have opening and closing ceremony. They need both ON when engine is cranking and ACC to determine if engine have been start or not.

I tried to hook On-orange wire to constant 12v., everything works except after ending ceremony, gauges stay in Stand-by mode and won't turn off, even after key is removed.
(Needle blinking, waiting for engine start to perform opening ceremony and fully function)

What kind of gauges are you using? also can you scan a copy of the wiring directions or schematics, I would like to see how they are wired.

I used a wire going into the TPMS module under the center dash panel next to the passenger airbag.

That's it. I forget which wire it was though. Should be pretty easy to figure out.

There are several Fuse's that you can tap that are Hot while the car is off.

Use the ones that are located in your cabin fuse box (drivers side, by the dead pedal). I have a 20A and a 30A tapped for my AFR gauge. Works like a charm. But then again I wried my gauge to a rocker switch as well.

He's not looking for a "constant" 12V source. He needs 12V when the ignition is in the acc and on position but will not temporarily turn off while cranking the engine.

why not just tap into a direct battery connection, and add in a switch? so you can control when it is engaged?

That was my thought. I'm not sure why this hasn't been the considered approach?

i may be totally out of my mind, but i've seen this question about 10 times here. there is an answer, and IIRC the room fuse/circuit is only powered in the ACC/ON position and does not loose power during cranking...

this would be easy to check... get in your car at night, leave the door open so the interior/door lights are on. start the car and see if the lights cut out.

even if i am mistaken, it CANT be that hard... every ricer kid in the world has figured it out so....

"Room" fuse circuit is constant on, even key is out and car is off.
I am not looking for that.

Thanks for your suggestion.

Oh and yes, I'm ricer.
I have AP work just like those gauges that I'm installing.
Gauges just look nicer.

If I have to swish it on and off every time, I would rather get new set of gauges.
It will be ok for couple time and then I might just get to lazy to turn it on.

Thanks anyway.
