about to get an rx8, have a few questions after a lot of researching!

what do you guys think of the audiolink from http://www.therpmstore.com/product_i...roducts_id=142 should i go with that or the one that mazda offers?

do you guys find the stock bose system fine? does it get loud enough without losing clarity?

planning on getting subs in the future, wondering can i use the stock head unit. i've read every where, and all i need to do is get a line out converter, but that may lose quality (any comments on that?) but everyone said you can't control the bass? can i not control it from the head unit, and can't i get a separate bass controller?

and finally, will the ipod integration work fine with the subs?

to answer:

1. I had the audiolink with my stock HU and loved it. I have since gone to the corksport dash kit with an Avic d3x HU and love it even more.

2. The stock system is fine, for a car. It won't get very loud and the clarity isn't all the great to begin with. If you try to pump it very high it will become a muddled mess.

3. Adding a sub is a very easy thing to do and you'll find 100's of posts going over how to do it by searching

4. The ipod integration has nothing to do with your subs so won't effect it in any way.
