HELP! Radio Removal HELP!

Hello everyone, i just received my Grom in the mail a few hours ago and went cracking on removing all the panels and such in my rx8.

Ive been using this guide to help me along removing panels.

http://www.whatsmyip.org/lib/rx8-aux-ipod-input/?page=4

the last step shows a yellow circled bolt that i need to remove to take the radio out. shown below

Upon contorting my body to see under there i notice the 2 bolts next to each other than the guide said to IGNORE and i look up to find a hole. I found it odd that there was just a hole there with no bolt. I did buy my car used so maybe the radio was removed before, but i just want some confirmation that this is indeed the bolt that i should have had to remove if it was there.

When i went to pull the radio, i gently gave it some tug and it seemed like only the bottom half moved. I dont want to do any damage by giving it a schwarzenegger pull.

Put your hand behind this bar with 2 bolts and feel around. There should be a single hole there with a single bolt.

If that pic is upside down, that would be the location - it's on the side of the radio above your right knee.

Silly not to disconnect the battery.

I found the hardest part was pulling the radio far enough to access the connectors - brutal.

Once I removed that bolt, I never reinstalled it. There was a member who left his out and was claiming that his headunit was shaking too much and causing his CDs to skip.... but I call shenanigans on that. I've since reinstalled my factory radio and it's be perfectly fine.

Of course... I generally don't listen to CDs anymore. Wait. What's a CD? What was I talking about again?

I never replaced my "mystery bolt", either.

I'm having a brain fart, (My car has been stored for a few months!), but I think you can pull out the glove box and reach the connectors from there.
