Tough to tell from the pic, but that looks like it. Remove it and find out. Don't put it back in when you're finished.

I saw that video too... and I think that's the same bolt as the one in my picture -- but I read that it was supposed to be 10mm, which mine didn't fit..

Unbolt it and try. It's not going to hurt anything...

if it isn't 10mm it isn't the right one. I just did this, look about 4 inches away towards the front of the radio. It is there.

It's best accessed and seen by pulling the plastic cover off the lower dash centered below the steering column, then removing the metal panel. Then with a flashlight you can see the bolt and reach it with a drive extension - it def takes a 10mm socket. Be sure to remove the neg battery lead first since the radio is somewhat powered even with the ignition off!

Yes!!! Finally got the radio out and fixed my heater controls! Now I can survive winter!

Thanks a lot for the tips guys -- definitely took me a long time to find that darn hidden bolt.. and after that actually getting the wires out of the radio was a lot of pain as well.. but with working heater again, its definitely worth it!!!

Anyways, one last question, before I found the invisible bolt.. I removed another 10mm bolt somewhere further up. The bolt I removed is in the picture I took below.

Anyone know what this bolt is for, and if I should put it back?

That's the nut that keeps the transmission from falling on the ground isn't it??

Hi, I added the aux mod and found out the stupid dealer that I took the car back to about 4 years ago replaced the display and took out the hidden bolt never to replace it! Can someone tell me the exact dimensions of the bolt, or even better if there's a part number so I can replace it? I know it's a 10MM bolt but that's it. No wonder my CD skipped more than usual when I went through very small bumps on the road. Thanks!
