So did anyone ever figure out how to get a stuck CD out of the slot? It hasn't happened to me yet, but I'd like to know for possible future reference. My iMac has a little button inside the slot that rejects the disc (you have to push it with an unbent paper clip), but I couldn't find anything like that in the 8's slot.

It all depends on how it got stuck in there. If it was a new CD and there was a burr in the center then it'd be stuck on the laser mechanism. That kind can be removed by pressing eject and jarring the unit (literally hit it to shake it off the center piece). If it is stuck on the pinch rollers of the loading mechanism then you just have to pull it out as long as the clamp hasn't dropped that prohibits another CD from entering behind it. Those can be retreived with a small set of needle nose pliers. If the guard that I mentioned earlier has dropped and you can't get the player to cycle to "eject" then... good luck. Take it to a place that will repair the unit. You might be stuck with the dealer in that case. I've run into hundred of these cases and some times you have to disassemble the whole radio to get the CD out.

P7&8 - I have a CD stuck in my 6CD changer too. Were you ever able to remove it yourself or did you have to go to the dealer? I'm not sure if the changer read "waiting" or "in", as I wasn't loading them.

Any help from anybody would be appreciated.

Sorry to say that I had the same problem. When I pressed eject, I could see the CD start to emerge, but it stopped while it was still inside the player. I used a small set of tweezers to remove the CD, but unfortunately the loading mechanism was toast. The player would no longer accept CDs.

I brought it to the dealer where they had to remove the radio and send it off somewhere for service/replacement. It took a full week to get a replacement! Very annoying.

HELP:CD loading

My player doesn't take more than 1 cd. I am pretty sure it should take up to 6 cause the player has multiple cd tracking option. Any idea guys how can I make it work. The load button doen't bip if pressed on. cheers.

What exactly do you mean? My single disk player also has buttons that say "Disk >", "Disk <", but it's definitely not a multi-disk changer. It's a commonization thing to cut costs.
