My head unit went out the other week and now my AC will not cut on but the fan works. All the controls on the head unit are shot but they still work on the steering weel control. I took it in to mazda and they were going to charge me an insane amount to get it fixed. Is there any place to get a factory head unit with out going through mazda to get the part.

this is kinda common actually

take the head unit out - take the "face" off - clean the connectors and put it back together...
