Anybody done any clean HD Radio installs on the RX-8?

Can you just plug in a tuner to the factory Bose system?

 

I have a clean install but I have completely changed the BOSE system in the car along with the factory NAV. As we all know the mazda naz sucks and only works half the time. I replaced it with a touch screen Alpine unit with the alpine hub. This enabled me to have HD Radio. My 8 is in the shop for another week but i will be posting pics of all the new mods as soon as I get it back.

 

I'm pretty sure I dont wanna go that crazy. I'm looking for something to add on to the factory Bose.
