Graphic Equalizer Install?
I did a search but didn't find anything about installing graphic equalizers. Personally, the Bose systems kills the Infinity system in my last car, but I think with all the cool lighting in the 8, it begs to have a (minimum) 10-band equalizer.
Has anyone installed an equalizer, and if so, how does it look?

i agree will look cool
but i dont think since the early 90's eq's are in the front by driver.
now all eq's are in trunk with amp and speakers for show.

I have EQS with Memphis 6 ch. Amp and it sounds pretty OK. Not 100% happy due to the Boss head unit but a lot better than without it. The EQS has RCA output to the AMP and the EQS is in the trunk. I'm thinking about putting an after market head unit on the plastic panel btw back sits and use remote control but I'm not sure how it will look yet. I saw some people put subs on it. Any thought?
P.S. If you are wondering how my Amp, EQS and Sub in my trunk look, I can take picture of it and try to upload it.

Bkulleo, I would love to see a picture!
The reason I was thinking 10-band (or more) equalizer was for tuning the sound range. I don't need 600 Watts of thumping power because I've grown beyond that stage in my life. I just want to peak the thresholds and wondered if anybody had installed one and where they located the unit (in the ashtray area? Under the dash?) Thanks!

I remember my installer tweeking my car for shows, he was in there for at least a half hour tweeking stuff. Of course, I had two 30 band EQs--one for left, one for right. If the EQs were in the rear he would not have been able to tweek it as well just out of annoyance factor alone.

Thew, I read you have been working on the Nav kit (from Japan-only parts), but I wondered about your DVD unit. I see you installed it in the pass-through, so I must ask: How did you get the Blaupunkt to communicate with the Nav head unit? Thanks for any comments!
