The instructions that came with it shows how to tap into the map light/door lights set. I need help on figuring out the wiring to hook it up to the dash/parking lights, so it can be on all the time at night..

just tap into an accesory light, and put in a switch. thats what i did with any and all lighting i did aftermarket. works wonderfully.

 

splice it into your light inside your glovebox. it uses the same switch that your headlights use. so as long as you turn on your headlights or just the marker lights the leds will be on.

 

why would you want it like that? you might want to check with your state about legality issues. i'd recommend doing what was suggested earlier and installing a dedicated switch for the footwells.
