I have been wanting to get myself this mod for a while, But I am scared I am going to waste my money on something that will not work with my car. I have read that many people have done this with out any problems. I have found a vender on ebay and was wondering if anyone has went though this guy for theres. If not I may just end up getting it from mazdaparts.com

but it says the key is cut so does that mean i need to buy another key????

sorry to bump an old thread, but i purchased a used one off ebay the other day, got it yesterday and have been trying to program it, my question is the visteon model is different but the FCC id and IC numbers are identical.

does the model number matter or is is the key to getting a compatible one just the FCCID and IC numbers matching?
