Fried my head unit!

I think I probably fried my factory head unit today. I was installing the AuxMod hastily and forgot to unplug the battery. The head unit no longer turns on at all, nor ejects the cd. The red LED panel above also doesn't work.

Is there a security thing i missed, or did i fry my head unit that easily?

Anyone have a factory head unit they want to sell?

sounds like a good time to buy the new metra kit and an aftermarket HU.

Read your owners manual. There are two boxes, one to the left of your legs when driving. The other in the engine bay to the bottom right.

theres a set of fuses under the hood, and theres another set under the dash by your left leg. they're under a little panel.
