fog lights into underglow conversion

My rx8 has an aftermarket front bumper cover so my oem fog lights don't fit. Thinking about using my oem fogs to make a homemade under glow. Going to put some colored lights in them and mount them facing down underneath my car. What do you think? Is this too stupid? What color should I use? Hahah thanks guys!

Just so you know this is a do it your self.... were people show the proper ways to do or fix something to the car. Not to ask questions like this.... (ugh)......
