Question fm power booster

has anybody out there done anything with a fm power booster.??
even though i live in los angeles area the reception sometimes
is like junk.

did you check the antenna connection on the head unit? That's weird that your reception is so poor.

yeah it's not xceptionally bad but i do get more static then i think i should...
even with local stations...

I think it's because the radio here is SHAIT - do yourself a favor and just get Sirius - it's really that much better.

I think those power boosters are mostly a gimmick. Remember they're going to amplify the noise along with the signal.

i had one in my house, it worked ok.
it had a dial that had to be tuned
just like the radio...
