Finalizing Install, Few Hiccups

Okay i have ordered everything for my carpc and am all set to go. I have rx8 with stock navigation installed. The few questions i still have are:

1. How to connect my lilliput screen to my carpc. The carpc is going to be stationed in my boot whereas the lilliput shall be in the nav Housing. The VGA cable of computer is approximately four feet and shall not reach the lilliput Monitor. So what is the solution to that.

2. I was reading on this forum that for people whose car has stock navigation you just have to replace the stock lcd screen with the new one and you are done, you don't have to worry about open/close and tilt buttons not functioning. Is this true??

1 - Get a longer cable?
2 - I would say that depends on how well your new screen fits in there, but don't quote me on that as I've never tried this...
