Fatmat (sound dampening)

http://www.fatmat.com
I found this product online and am considering doing the entire car with it. Has anyone used fatmat before? How hard is it to install on the floor, is the carpet glued down?

RR you just installled the subs in your trunk right?

well if that is so the best thing you could do to improve sound is to simply Dynamatt (or fatmat if it is a good product never heard of it) the trunk...which is really easy...just remove the little clips and you can pull the whole thing right out

a secret...if you want to get Dynamatt for cheap go to pawn shops who specialize in car audio...I've found they sell it for really cheap since they have it in bulk and don't use it for profit making (oh and it is NEW dynamatt not pawned dynamatt :p)

Yeah, I want to do the entire car though. How hard is it to remove the carpet inside the cabin?

ask Devoid he's had it done to the car already....look at his album of pics:

http://devoid.mine.nu/

I've takin out the back seats and center console and may be removing the passengers seat soon to fit something to the bottom...it appears easy to remove the carpet after the the center console and center console pieces are removed and seats are removed
