Thinking about buying the RX8 and wondering if anyone has the factory Sirius unit. If so what is your opinion on sound quality and display. I currently have all three of my cars Sirius equipped and love it. My main car has the Sirius head unit, the other two have the plug and plays. On a side note don't let anyone tell you that you need to put the antenna on the trunk or roof. It works perfect inside the rear deck That is where I have had mine for the last several years and works great. You do not even notice it. Makes me sick to see nice looking cars with the antennas all over the outer areas.

 

My Shinka came with Serius and one free year of service. The quality is ok, sound like the rest of the radio. I am not thrilled with the display. You get one line of display at a time that you can then cycle down thorugh, but that is a bit of a pain. I have an alpine with XM in my other car and the alpine display is much better. The antenna is on the trunk but is pretty unobtrusive.
