factory nav specs/pics?

hey does anyone know the specs on the factory nav housing? or any pics of the factory nav w/o the screen in place?

im curious because im thinking of mounting my gaues on top of the nav flip up screen and im just worried about the clearance issue... of course im gonna fg it all together... i think the position of the gauges on the nav housing makes it easily visable...

i know you might think its stupid cuz you could only see either the gauges or the nav... but my logic is.. i dont need to look at the gauges 24/7... if i race of course ill monitor them.. but if im using the nav i highly doubt ill try and race or do something stupid since i wouldnt know where im going so i wouldnt need to see the gauges...

any thoughts? my other idea was to mount the gauges right behind the nav right where the housing that flips up ends... i wish i have a camera so i could take pics to describe what i mean...

If it were me, I would put them on the A-pillar instead of risking messing something up.
