I tried to search, and I'm sure there are 5 posts on this very issue but alas I suck at searching forums and so here my post goes. I have a 09 GT with the bose 6 disc changer. The problem I have is I can't use the aux port while my input device is also plugged into a cigarette lighter port. I had this exact issue on my 07 3 that had a port as well. I'm 95% sure its grounding interferance but I can't find a remedy on this car or my previous one, mazda and my local dealer had no idea either. I've tried putting Ground Loop Isolators(or whatever those things are called, the name escapes me right now) on both the 3.5mm audio jack and on the power cord from my lighter to the device. Neither worked, I've tried other nicer cords and still no dice. I've tried this with 2 ipods(differant gens), iphone, XM radio and my laptop(I was desparate) and still get an audable buzz or hiss in the sound, if I unplug the power it goes and works great. Any input on this problems or even posting search then a link to a fix would be a great help, I'm good with electronics and electrical systems so if something is involved there thats ok.

That is definitely a ground loop issue (I have the same issue with my 2009). A ground loop isolator/filter should have fixed the problem. I recently ordered the below one and will let you know how it works:
