I wanted the suede, and wanted the blue to be subtle (just the stitching) since the **** is very "in your face blue". But I do like the blue and black leather combo, it would look good with a black ****. Plus the cheapness in me came through, it was $9 to my house.

 

I cut about 3/4" of new threads into the shift lever. my shift **** sits about 3/4" lower. i also modded my shift boot is flush against the ****.

i can bunch up the boot a bit, and it looks better, but for comparisons sake of the above pic i chose one similar to the before pic i had posted above.
