This may have been covered already, but my search (yes I know how to search) yielded no results.

The Corksport site lists that this is now available in piano black. Anyone know if this is the case?

I got a tracking number... They are shipping mine USPS Express Overnight....

Yes, they do have piano black. Out of all the orders placed they all were piano black except one.

I'm the non piano black.

I'm going to be doing a carputer install. I'm hacking it up, so why pay extra?

Sort of off topic, but anyone consider moving the AC controls to the ash tray / cigarette lighter location and then putting 2 or even 3 gauges where the AC controls were and an aftermarket head unit where the stock radio used to be? You could even use the Corksport kit and just enlarge the three openings to fit the gauges.

Just a thought. Anyone think that's a great idea? Anyone think it's dumb?

I don't know if all three of the AC control **** will fit in the ashtray opening. If I were to do something like that, I would just buy the Racing Beat Gauge pod for the ashtray area. Alot less work involved.

It's been done. I don't remember the user name, but he moved the AC controls down and installed an in-dash 8" screen.

Did anyone order this with the steering controls? I sure hope this works. To me this is a big moment; does it work, how does it look, how hard is the install???? What is taking so long Hurry, Hurry.... JK take your time, I'm sure Corksport put together a great product.

^^ no doubt. Heartless bastard.

I'm leaning heavily towards picking one up now - and I'll get the steering wheel kit for it as well.

Ok, I was able to snap a quick Pic before I came into work. Its from my camera phone so the quality Sucks! A couple things. I was very impressed with the quality of the kit. As for the LED screen up top. All you see are the things pretaining to the AC... The clock and trackin info are not there... instructions are very well drawn up... Again once I get the project complete tomorrow morning, I will start a new trhead with LOTS of pictures
