Connector removal help from the center console

Hello all,
I have tried following the instruction from http://www.whatsmyip.org/ipodrx8/
and disconnecting Climate Control connector from console is a #*()@*#$)(*
My hands are all beat and this is so frustrating.. Is there any tip on disconnecting this connector?

When facing the console directly, is there any push-tab I need to press on before unplugging the dang connector? a~d as shown in the diagram below?

Sorry.. diagram is not showing properly but i think you get the picture..

I guess you are better at searching. Anyhow, I managed to detach the dang things out.
