Need help on removing radio unit

Hi guys,

I purchased an ipod adapter and Im in the middle of removing my radio unit. I searched and found a lot of info on how to do this, and I have been successful except that now I am stuck with the A/C white connector thing that I cant remove.

I am at step 7 (in reference to the link below) and I got the Fan speed white connector out which is the left one on the picture. I saw the connector and it only requires a push at the bottom. But for the AC one, I cant see the layout of the latch. Does anyone have any clue on this? Any advice or close up picture of the connector? Thank you so much........I have been stuck at this point for 2hrs......sigh..

i can't really remember without going out to my car and taking it out.. judging from pic 8 - there is either a button or the bottom or you just have to wiggle it a bit..

Oh, and cover the knobless shifter before pulling out the head unit. I pulled mine out and it went straight into the threading of the shifter. small scratch that I will notice every day,

Thanks guys, I finally managed to pop that thing out. There was a tiny latch that I needed to push and it came right out.....after 2 hrs of struggling.....

jamesdherman, thanks for your advice. Unfortunately I ended up on the same boat and I wish I had seen your comment before the pull. I made a small scratch on the black plastics piece. The magic bolt is "okay" for me since many of us have discussed it here. That shifter thread is the killer.

I guess I will reiterate it here just to make sure I am the last one who made that mistake. COVER YOUR KNOBLESS SHIFTER BEFORE PULLING OUT THE HEAD UNIT.
