Completed system

I know this is not an RX8, but many of the NY, CT and NJ guys know me and my 7. So I'm just spreading the love.

I have the first 3 production models of the new Elemental Designs e5.10 subs:








The first meet/ show for it will be the Orange County Chopper All Mazda event coming up May.

Damn dude, that looks awesome. Very clean setup. I really like that back piece with the rotors cut out of it and the raised RX-7.

WHOA! One of your speakers is in upside down! other than that it looks great nice job! and I bet it sounds MEAN in that hatchback

Looks outstanding man! Is that a built in handle for quick removal? Do the other pieces come out easily too? Sick job!

But I literally ALWAYS look for something to improve on. Where the red and black speaker wires enter the box, how is that finished off?

Why do you have subs firing in different directions?

Is part of the enclosure plastic/vinyl?

How does that sound?

To simply show off the subs a little more. Add a little flash. When inverting one of your subwoofers, you simply reverse the polarity on the inverted sub. This will allow it to remain in phase with the others.

The box itself looks like it's mostly medium density fiberboard. Then sealed with fiberglass resin? Then it looks like the entire area was covered in vinyl.

Really well done.

iam all so a first gen guy have a 05 rx8 and a 1980 rx7 all i have to say is dam. id be afraid of the hatch glass breaking lol.

That looks awsome. Ill be doing enclosures in my 8 prob next month. Just the basic corner enclosures. Hope you dont mind if I ask you a few questions when the time comes.
