Is this a common problem

For the last few weeks my car has automaticly unlocked all my doors and the trunk randomly. Is this a common problem or unique? I have a 04 6speed GT. Any advice is greatly needed. Maybe fuse or short?

That is definitely not a common issue. Sounds like you have some electrical short.

You want to get that fixed. If the trunk is sporadically unlocking then the trunk light will come on and drain the battery if left overnight. It may be a defective key fob that is erroneously transmitting the unlock signal. The signal has pretty good range, e.g. mudroom to garage.

My trunk was popping open by itself. I figured I was hitting the button while my keys were in my pocket. So I disabled the trunk pop using the button in the glove box. Havent had a problem since...
