Check speakers

I remembered somewhere that one can 'cycle' through each speakers by pressing some buttons. Unfortunately I am unable to locate that thread anymore. can someone advise? thanks!
I'm not too impressed with the Bose speakers....

you can use the **** to cycle through bass/treble/mid and speakers

can cycle left to right and front to rear

Yes, with the Bose system you can. I think it's in the How-To section. It's an audio test tone pass1over, not the regular audio level adjustments.

I'm also interested in figuring out how to do a test tone. I searched the DIY's but couldn't find it.

ahh, it goes through all the speakers and plays a sound through each of them? Ive seen/heard this before, but not on my 8.
