the button that locks the center consel broke on me yester day i have no idea how but the springs flew out and it went flying could i get a new button or am i just better off getting a whole new lid thats 75 bucks!!!

 

you could fix it, assuming you still have the spring. there is a DIY on here about slanted center button that might help you.

Of course, it may have just straight up broke, in which case. I have no idea if you can just buy buttons

 

it was slanted since i got it and i tried fixing it but also the one tab that holds the button in place is snapped

 

You definitely can buy a button from your local dealer's parts department. I doubt it costs very much.
