My car is about a month old and I noticed that I'm getting a rattle from the Bose center speaker in the dash. It sounds like it might be blown....hard to believe though since I've never cranked the volume loud enough. I would hope this would be covered under warranty, but does anyone know the size of that speaker and if there are aftemarket replacements? Appreciate any info.

 

I noticed a vibrating noise while listening to talk radio the other day, seems to come and go.
I don't listen to talk radio much and I don't hear it when listening to my rock music so it doesn't bother me too much.

 

that's when I've noticed it....when I put some talk radio on.....even with bass at 0 or less. With normal dance/techno music I do not notice it.

 

Definitely a warranty issue - let Mazda take care of it. Although I think it's a 3" speaker, for whatever that's worth.

 

I thought I was the only one!
I'll take it in...it's gonna be hard to show the Service Manager-it's not so quiet in the shop.
maybe I'll have to take him for a spin.
