CD player issues
Just wondering if anyone else has had problems with their cd player. Mine can recognize when a cd is in properly, but refuses to play, and when one is put in it just says CD IN above CD, but does not autoload as it aparently should.
Ideas?

well if that is the case, then I have no clue how to use it?
any help, I've looked at the manual and none of what it says for the 6disc changer seems to work

Mine is a 6-disk changer and it just started doing the same thing.
It did this one time before on a lengthy trip and when I ejected the CD's they were hot as hell. I could feel extreme heat coming from the radio area. After the car had completely cooled it worked again.
It did the same thing last night after about a 1 hour trip and this morning still wouldn't play any CD but will load and eject them just fine. It also shows "CD IN" and when you power the CD player back on it will scramble though the disks and then just powers back off.
I will probably unhook the battery or something (too lazy to mess with it this morning) to reset the player but does anyone know of a way to reset the stereo without unhooking the battery or pulling the fuse? One car I had you could hold down two buttons simultaneously to reset it.
