CD Changer Stuck/Broken..HELP!

I went to switch to my CD changer (Bose system) the other day and it flashed "CD" as if it were loading (but it was full already). A few seconds later, the "CD" dissappeared and all the controls that operate the changer stopped responding. Is there a way to Reset the changer and also to manually eject the CD's? If the changer is busted, then I hope I can convince my dealer to give me the MP3 player instead of a new changer....

I'm sure the dealer can fix this but in the mean time you might try disconnecting the battery. That usually resets your presets on the radio so I imagine it might reset the cd player as well. Its worth a shot, it might not do a thing but it can't hurt to try it. Otherwise your only option is to bring it in to the dealer.

This has just happened to me. Dealer has said it will be a swap out! Is this what happened to you djseto?

BTW, removing the power didn't change anything, but I found that the diagnostic codes and the instructions on how to enter this mode are listed on the web.
