CD Changer

I have all the buttons to indicate that i have a six disc changer (disc up/down etc.) but none of them work, does this mean I have it, its just not working, or do all the cd players in our cars have this on them? Thanks in advance and sorry for such a newbie question

All the OEM stereos have those buttons. If you have anything other than the single CD player installed, you'll have a special graphic above the "1" button on the piano black panel (see photo of an OEM MP3 CD player). The CD changer has a graphic of multiple CD's stacked together.

Aw man, I thought it was only single but I was hoping it was six disc not working because its still on factory warranty and I could've got it replaced. I know it's been asked before somewhere, but while on the topic of six disc, can I swap this one out for a six disc without any trouble?
