Carputer - Running Wires

I've read a ton of threads on Car PC installs but I have yet to see much on how difficult it is to actually run all nessesary cabling. I would like to install the guts of the PC in the rear console piece (not sure what to call it, between the seats and trunk). Will I need to remove a lot components (seat, center console etc) to run wiring? Id also like to put a DVD drive somewhere in the center console, how difficult will this be?

Cool Neat.....

The console makes front-to-back cabling nice and neat.

Shouldn't be too difficult to hide a DVD in there, the nav system's stock drive is under it.
