Bose woes

Anyone know of a good custom audio shop in the Pittsburgh PA area that can do something with the Bose system? I've followed all the threads but may not have enough time to get this done myself.

I can't help you wit a shop but I can tell you that I just added a sub to the system and I am pleased with how it sounds now. I know Tweeeters in Harrisburg does a good job.

How did you wire the sub? You stuck with the Bose as well?

Just go to some local audio shop & check out their custom install pictures & you can probably tell how good of a job they can do.I suggest that you get rid of the bose system & get component speakers, add a sub or two & some new amps instead of the small stock bose amp that can't put out much clean power!

Soundstream use to be great but they sold out to power acoustik which is makes generic stuff so Soundstreams products quality has went downhill. PPI which also have the same story. They use to make really highend quality amps but they got bought out by Dei so their quality also went down hill a bit but not as much as Soundstream.
