Sorry but how many speakers does the rx-8 have? i only counted 7. Does the system have stock amps? in the trunk i see a metal box inbetween the rear speakers.Is it amps or not or something eles?

and it has 9 speakers

 

Two of the 7 speakers you counted are coaxial (two speakers in one enclosure), thus there are 9.

 

Actually, they are all separates.

2) 9" mid-basses in each door.
2) 2" tweeters in each door.
2) 6x9 mid-basses in the rear parcel shelf
2) 2" tweeters in the rear parcel shelf
1) center speaker (I forget the size)
