i got Bose and don't think it is too bad. it isn't the greatest by far, and i would like to replace all the speakers, but i don't find it to be as bad as many have said.

No highs, no lows. Must be Bose. Standard tagline. And true.

Hiya Djseto,

Just out of interest, what do you have in your home audio system?

Bose isn't that bad, but for an upgrade.. it isnt much. I have JL audio XR's, components in the front and coaxials in the back runnin off a JL 300/4... theres no comparison. Bose is terrible if you compare it to high end car audio. But as a stock car stereo, it istn that bad... in my opinion it isnt worth upgrading to the Bose system, save your money and buy a better stereo.

Hiya Djseto,

I'm running a Cary Audio CD player and amps, Nottingham turntable w/Koetsu cartridge, Sony SACD player, Art Audio preamp, Coincident Total Victory speakers, and Shunyata cables all around.

Best,
Bill

I am not a sound guy. So the Bose system is more than enough.

If you need a bit more high, replace the tweeters with a pair of Image Dynamics.
Sounds much better
They even swivel
