Tonight I started to install an FM Modulator in my car so i can use m y mp3 player for music. It hard lines in the back of the radio through the power lead antenna. I attached the power and ground for the modulator to the power and ground to the cigarette outlet, but i keep blowing fuses.

I tried larger fuses, i know my wiring is right, does anyone know what could be the problem? Do i need to run a designated wire from the battery. I have does this to my jeep with a different brand unit, and i didn't have this problem. thanks guys!
