Ive got an idea to get a thread together, if there already hasnt been one, for everyone to post there pics of THEIR subwoofer system. Mainly so people who havent done it can get inspiration adn ideas for there systems, and then have a vote for fun. Well lets see how this goes.

Correction: contest is for RX8's only, but for the sake of ideas for 8's without systems, other car pics may be added.

I have Alpine PDX 1.1000 and 4.150 amps and Alpine type R 10"s in a q-logic box in the trunk

and a Pioneer AVIC Z2 in the corksport kit with sirius / xm with navtraffic and all that jazz up front

I've the same woofers and amp as Wikkedone (stole his idea) but in an Zenclosure box. CarPC, 3sixty.2 sound processor, cabin speakers and tweeters all MB Quart.

 

12" Kicker Solobaric L7 in Zenclosure box. Kicker ZX750.1 amp mounted in custom made enclosure by me. also have a 2 Farad cap mounted between the back seats on the back of my box.

 

Mine is a very simple setup.

I ran out of new ideas for carpc locations in the front so i resorted to this, which turned out very nice. i need to clean it up still with fan grills and slide the amp over a little and get my trunk LED's from Rasp.

 

I have 2 12" Kicker CVX subs in a sealed box that is nice and snug cuz it's 13x13x31.5. Running the subs is a Crunch Pzi.3000. Next i'm gonna have to get a 3 or 4 Farad capacitor cuz my lights dim on every hit.

 

im putting 2 10" solo baric subs in mine powered by a 750.1 kicker mono amp i'll post sum pics when i get it done after the 15th

TMA is a JL audio brand, I picked this stuff up on sale after Christmas for really cheap from a local audio store and have been really happy with the performance. The subs hit hard and that amp seems to have more power than I need. This is the first amp I have had with a remote level control and I'll never go back to an amp with out one.

Looking good Kris, you are definitely on top in my book, that is just a super clean install. Bet that setup just pounds. I'm really into stealth installs, but this is awesome. Great Job!!

 

well here's a bit of mine, i also have the bass **** in the same place as BrianGT and Jedi. and i hard wired the stereo for my ipod like briangt, pics to come soon.
The boxes are fiberglass and painted to match the car, they look great and sound great. they also have a light that turns on when i open the trunk.
