Exclamation Best speakers mod!!

Kinda of a newbie in speakers, so what is the best brand name u guys can refer me to?

Infinity Kappas 682.7 CF (2 way 6 x 8) Front
Infinity Kappas 69.37I (3 way 6 x 9) Rear
Tweeters what about that setup? does that come with the 682.7 CF?

Sounds good?

I am not a sub woofer guy, just something better than stock is fine. BTw, I hate stock speaker, remind me a 88 civic factory stero. No offense but is just a bit better than that.

Thanks

I'm suprised you need more......Try adjusting the equalizer Bass+3 Middle+0 Treble+3, if popping in a cd with those settings doesn't do it for you, then replace the speakers. Mine sounds great with the EQ set like that and the volume at 25!!

Yes those speakers come with tweeters. I have those same Infinity 6x9s and they sound great.... I would also recommend trying to put an amp to those speakers. they arent as efficient as the factories. But u might not need to do that. for brands, Alpine, MB Quart, Dynaudio, are a few top ones

Focal slay all the above and sound amazing in the 8. There is a thread somewhere on the site of an 8 that I did with a full Focal system in dolby digital surround. Pics of the front and center speakers if you do a seach you will find them.

I think the bose only has Bass and Trebil: no worries RX4life.

How about something like this for the rear? Pioneer 5 way Speakers (400 watts)

If you want a good speaker mod, you should get a nice set of speakers such as Focal or CDT's. If you have those speakers, then you're going to want a nice amp to drive them with. And if you have a nice amp to drive them with, you're going to want a good active crossover before the amp. And if you have a good active crossover before the amp, then you're going to want a good head unit, like a Nakamichi or something. If you have a good head unit, then you're going to want a cookie to enjoy with your system. And if you give a mouse a cookie, he's going to ask you for a glass of milk.

I have the Infiniti setup mentioned, and a Basslink as well. The overall sound quality is pretty good. I am however trying to get better imaging.

I was thinking of hooking up a pair of Infinity tweeters up front as well. The question is where should I connect the leads? Should I use the stock factory wiring or should I connect it to the cross over on my Infinity Kappas 682.7 CF (2 way 6 x 8) up front.

Thanks in advance...

I had those pioneer 5 ways in my last car and they sounded pretty SWEET!

Just wondering how those would do in an RX-8....??

Meh... for the fronts get

Focal Utopia 165s Hands down the best 2-way component speakers ever made (probably even better than most if not all 3-ways dynaudio included)

For the backs... thats just fill you can use whatever I went with Focal 6x9s.

Um... those are just settings you input into your stereo using the **** on the right. He was saying that if you put some music into your stereo and it still doesn't sound good, then try something else.

You dont want your tweeters very far from the actual mids. The best are the kind that you have pictures of, with the tweater suspended over the cone of the mid. It has to do with the time it takes sound to travel to your ears.. if more thing are coming from differen't distances.. the sound wont match up.
