Beltronics Accelerometers
Anyone use or install these in an 8? Seems like a simple solution to obtain performance data:

Although it is intended for windshield mount, we could probably mount it somewhere in the dash.

this is similar to the Escort's (they make radars detectors, etc) G-Timer I believe, found here:

The reason for the similarity is that Bel bought out Escort Radar...so many of their products are almost identical but with different externals
Cue you have the Nav system so I would wait and get something that uses the LCD for a display very OEM...very cool, good luck!
