Back-up camera
Back-up camera
(I work at a GM dealership as a Detailer and in the Service Dept.)
So this week we had an H2 come in with a high-quality back-up camera installed in it, but no monitor. Used car manager said, "take it out if it doesn't work". Okay! I got to keep it. I got the RGB box to add to my Nav monitor so I can watch DVD and view camera images on it.
Where should I put the camera? Any ideas? I think a custom mount in the rear rotary spot in the bumper would be cool. Maybe an airdam-cam? Any ideas? The camera is VERY high quality and has a metal body and glass lens with cover.
***UPDATE***
WHOA - this is a $450 camera? JEEZ. Here's the link:

Now I really have to find a spot for it!

i wonder how wide an angle you could get from the trunk keyhole though? would you be able to see anything useful? i do think the OP's idea of rear rotor accent might be a good place. mounted there it could then be aimed for correct viewing angle since this camera swivels.
