Talking AVIC-N2 install almost finished

After almost a week of labor, trying to find daylight time to work on this after i leave my job at night, i am finally almost done!! Everything works and sounds AMAZING. Oh yeah and i only tapped one factory wire, lighter for acc. Tonight i will be mounting the R-Magic dash piece and im finished. While im happy about the time i saved by just buying this piece instead of making it, i am still a little disapointed in the fit and finish.(the sides are too wide and the hole for the heating and air screen is too small to see the top) The speakers all around are 6.5 Pioneer REV components. Hopefully i will have pictures to post tomorrow. Acouple people on the forum thought that it was a poorly thought out plan to do this but i could not be happier with this units functions and options.

PS: thanks for eveyone and the great walkthroughs of pulling the interior apart. I will be starting a walkthrough of my own in regards to running speaker wire into the door panels. This was the one thing i could not find on the site and wouldve proven helpfull.

Its good that you decided to run everything standalone instead of tapping the stock system for everything like you previously said. Much better sound performace is in the bag :D

oh yeah i forgot to post pics. If you look closely at the reflection you can see where i had to fill in the spot where the r-magic piece has a hole for the bose speaker. This is running 2 sets of REV 6.5 Kevlar pioneer components. I am still working on the fiberglass in the trunk for the 2 SPL10s.

i got the r-magic piece off a member on the forum who decided to go with another option for his carputer monitor. I was fuly ready to make the piece from fiberglass but i figure my time was worth the money to just buy his.
