This is awesome. I'm going to ask our EE at work to make one for me using your schematic. I HATE not having auto headlights. It's my second biggest gripe just beneath not having auto climate control.

This is great RR, thanks so much!

On a side note, I'm having some HID problems with my 07 and I've read that you are the man when it comes to HID know-how. I'm going to send you a PM. Any insight you have would be great.

No. Rasp custom made this unit himself. I would love to buy one from him if he would make it for me.

I want one too. I bought his sunroof mod and LOVE it. I can't believe a premium car these days comes without auto headlights. Actually, just headlights you can leave on all the time and go off when the key is completely turned off would be even better IMO. I can't imagine that's difficult. I'd pay for that too. My last car had that feature and to this day I still leave the lights on at night and get the annoying BEEP indicating that I need to turn them off.

The only thing I want is automatic climate control...I will pay reasonable amount for a functioning one.

Although don't the other markets get Automatic climate control?

I immensely respect the work RR has done here so my comment isn't meant to bash him.. but what is it with some people saying they "NEED" this feature. Is it really that hard to click your stalk 1 or 2 nothces (no pun intended) depending on if its night or day out...?

Jeez..

Sorry guys, I don't have my car anymore so I can't make anymore of these. (nothing to test them on)

Actually, I only ever made one.... c41250n has it!

Hope it's still working well....

its very easy, 2 diodes, a relay, and your connections will allow for headlamps/parking lamps on with key. i didnt even solder my connections, just used 3m t-taps, and it has worked fine for well over 2 years.
