AudioLink only charging - Please help

I just installed my AudioLink in my 2005 RX8, firmware 9.82. Everything seems connected fine, and the iPod charges when plugged in, but I cannot get the HU to go to auxillary mode.

I can press the CD button a hundred times and it never switches to the iPod input.

I have tried all other buttons on the head unit, including the controls on the steering wheel.

Any advice on what needs to be done to get the head unit to recognize the auxillary input? The only suggestion I have heard is that something is wrong with the Head Unit itself. That seems silly. Theres got to be something I can do.

Please help.

if you've double checked all your connections to the HU and to the box then you want to contact your seller, you might have a bad audiolink unit.

I would suggest pulling all connections and then putting them back in, i seem to remember also checking that all the pins for the connectors are firmly in place as well.

Laythor is correct. There's really nothing you can screw up. It's one plug lol. Ensure one of the pins has not slightly backed itself out of the harness.
