Nice truck setup for someone who wants subs, one of the best i've seen so far....

It's a clean little install. Actually not that hard to do. Carpet can still make it functional if there is an amp cover and speaker grills of some sort but a smooth painted finish would just be damn sexy! That also isn't really all that hard!

that's actually something i was considering doing when i got my 8.

How well do you think that setup sounds, with speakers facing into each other like that?

Probably fairly well. Subs facing one another will not cancel each other out, which is a common myth. Besides, they look to be angled about 20-30 degrees forward, which both looks good and may sound better.

Overall, if the enclosure is rigid and properly sized, i bet it is great.
