Just for kicks, try turning off the auto-pilot on your stereo console and see if it makes a difference. If it does, then your Bose auto-pilot is acting up.

do you have a destination set on your navi when this happens? the left speaker will cut out when the navi is talking, and its not very loud so your music could easily cover it.

ditto...but if you don't have NAVI then there is a problem...maybe a bad wiring harness

Fuse doesn't make sense. That would knock out the whole system, not just one speaker. Sounds like the wiring to that individual speaker is messed - maybe the bass is knocking out the loose connection?

Speaking of listening to the music at the max level - I'm not a 17 year old anymore, so I don't crank my stereo as loud as I used to - is the stereo able to make that booming bass that you hear coming down the street from juiced-up Sunfires from 3 blocks away?

Question

I know this is off the subject, but I wasn't able to find anything about it by searching. Does anyone out there have an 8 that constantly beeps when driving over 75 MPH? Is there a way to disable it? Thanks for any help!!

where is the beep coming from??? this could be something serious...or not but here are a few ideas:

-door ajar
-rev limiter tone wacky
-electrical problem
-could be a lot of things really...check it at the dealership
