Any way I can keep cruise with a racing wheel?
I'm looking into buying a racing wheel for my car but I drive quite a bit on the highway. Is there any possible way I'll be able to keep my cruise control?
Thanks

I would be more concerned about your air bags personally. The steering wheel controls are just resistors. When the circuit sees a certain resistance it sees a "button press" In theory you could wire up the switch using a resistor and the factory service manual as a guide, but it'd be a whole lot of work. You might also be able to gut the factory wheel and canabalize it's wiring harness and buttons to make it work.
My personal feeling is that you should never sacrifice safety for looks. Swapping out the perfectly functional (and well matching) steering wheel, with a racing wheel with no air bags would run afoul of that.

Hmm that electrical stuff sounds like a pain.
Well the car is my daily driver but I also like do to autocross every once in a while so I wondering. The fact of not having an airbag doesn't really bother me whoever I understand how some people feel about that issue
