I've been looking to find a way to hard-wire an ipod adapter into my 8's Bose system and I was wondering if anyone knows any adapter that works with factory 6-disc bose system?? I went to circuitcity, bestbuy and frys and asked them if they had any...and they said hardwiring only works with single-disc player or non-Bose system. any suggestion??

My OEM IPOD adaptor works great with my 6 disc Bose.

 

My Axxess box work 99% of the time with my 6 disc Bose.

 

depending on the firmware of your headunit, there are many ipod solutions for you. if you have firmware 9.50 then you can only use an auxmod.
