I'm planing to start a new tablet project and currently I'm trying to understand is there way to control the music using the steering wheel buttons and if so, what I need to buy for it.

Currently I have iPod xCarlink, but I don't know if it will be useful to not just listen to music with AUX input, but also to control the music using the steering wheel buttons.

 

Im pretty sure that a bluetooth connection would work. I am currently using the Grom bluetooth adapter and I am able to control my phone with the head unit and steering wheel controls through bluetooth.
