Amp/Sub Install - Stock Deck

I just purchased an infinity basslink; it is an amp/sub in one. I read in another thread that most people are wiring to their rear speakers - so I went and purchased a line output converter to make some rca plugs in the back. My problem is that I am having trouble connecting the remote start wire. I know the optimal method is to get to the ACC wires in the stock deck; and another option is to wire to the ignition. Would it be better to go through the trouble of wiring through the ACC in the stock deck? And if so, how would I go about taking the stock deck (non-bose system) out? If someone posted a thread with illustrations, that'd be really helpful. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

I'm not sure if anyone has conclusively determined if there is a ACC hot wire coming out of the head unit or not. A couple people including myself have tapped into the cig lighter adapter towards the rear of the center console as the remote trigger, since it's switched off of the ignition (as opposed to always hot, like most cars). It's very easy to get to (pop-out the cig lighter adaptor , loosen four screws to allow room to slip your remote wire in, and splice into the green wire (+12V), and there is just a couple of feet of wire to run back to the trunk under the console.
