Alpine W900-BT

So my old Avic D3 was just not cutting it for my anymore. Wanted to update my HU so stopped by my local audio shop and asked what they could do for me. An hour later I walked out with the w900-bt installed for less then i could even find it online w/o installation.
So far i'm really enjoying it, synced up with my droid without an issue, transferred contacts automatically, sounds great. I'll be going back next week to have it calibrated but even without that it still sounds cleaner then my avic unit.
Also had them put on my lebren third light since they were working on the car and i'm lazy.

Were you able to keep the steering wheel controls when you upgraded? If so, what it an extra adapter you had to install?
